This is called hiryu(費留).
It means “to squander one’s life and possessions and stay.
We have been winning so far, so there is no problem. The carelessness of thinking that we can continue to win in the future will bring ruin.
Even if one’s business is going well, one must always calmly assess the situation.
It is not surprising that Napoleon met a miserable end.
He continued his wars of aggression until he lost. He got carried away and invaded Russia, returning home ravaged by hunger and cold.
He was then confined to the island of St. Helena, where he spent the rest of his life being abused.
No matter how strong you are, if you keep fighting, someone will defeat you at some point.
Do not start a war or raise an army because of temporary anger.
Hate can turn into love. Sadness can turn into joy.
But a ruined nation cannot be rebuilt, and dead people cannot be resurrected.
Conflict is such a risky thing.
